Emalie

On May 23rd 2007, I found out I was going to have a baby! I took 4 tests that day and was scared beyond belief! I thought only the worst and thought my life was just over. I had to tell Robie some how and didnt know how. hardest thing I have ever had to tell someone. So we went out to dinner that night, we ordered, as soon as we got our food and had taken a few bites, I told him. He took it SOOOOO well! i was shocked!!!! I thought for sure he would freak out. thats why I told him over dinner! lol... anyways that followed with my mom and his mom. and so on and so forth. After the shock of it was gone. I was so happy to be having a baby and the experiance of being pregnant was more and more exciting and interesting as time went on!
So, at about 19 or 20 weeks we found out we were having a Girl! I was soooo happy! I really wanted a girl for my first! Anyways, I started the planning and decorating ect ect. We went with purple and butterflys! totally cute!

She came out in 2 or 3 pushes, They had to make her cry, and after that she hardly made a peep for a long time! She was WIDE awake and So good! I decided to breast feed her, She latched on great! she ate about 1 or 2 hours after she was born and was awake until then, then she went to sleep for a while

On Saturday the 19th at about 3pm We took her home! She did great in the car! We got her home and I took her to the room and she adjusted perfectly!~
